Ibiza the official name Catalan situated in the Mediterranean sea. It’s a Spanish island on the eastern coasts. the nearest city to this island is Valencia which is 150 km.

Ibiza is known for its nightlife, party, and dance moreover like freedom. Youth attracted by this culture. Authority in these islands is trying to attract family-oriented tourists to increase the revenue of tourism. This city is a UNESCO world heritage site. all these islands are situated nearby are called pine islands. Another name of these islands is Pityuses.

It’s an island situated on the eastern coast of Spain. 185 km from Valencia the nearest city. 220 km away from Gandia.

HOW TO REACH IBIZA-

This island has an airport so you can directly go there. also, Palma de Mallorca and Alicante airport are nearby from this island. you can drive from the nearest city Valencia. It’s a three and a half hours drive.

HISTORY OF IBIZA-

The port on Ibiza island was founded by Phoenician settlers in 654 BC. It became a Phoenician colony for a long time. The city was under the control of Carthage too. It was a very important route post in Mediterranean sea routes for trading. Ibiza got under control of the Roman empire as well as Vandal and Byzantine for a long time. The island was captured by Muslim invaders in 902 CE. in 1110 CE the Norwegian king Sigurd 1st from Norway invaded this island and other nearby Then the island was in autonomy until 1715. Island got its democracy in late 1970. Now it is an autonomous region.

It’s a rock island. It consists area of 572 sq. km. The electric islands are a group of 50 islands. Ibiza is one of them.

The dance called Ball Pages is a typical folk dance of Ibiza. It requires colorful clothing for dancers. dance is fast and so energetic. It’s a dance between men and women.

The native language of this island is Eivissenc. Also there Spanish, English, French, German languages are spoken because of tourism.

This place is known for its nightclub culture. this is also known as popular culture because tourists enjoy this nightlife. Firstly there are 2 places tourists visit the most. These are Ibiza town and Sant Antony.

This is also called Catalan which is its official name. basically, it is situated in 2 parts called the old town and the modern town. this city has the most luxurious nightclubs, for example, Pacha, Space, Ushuaia, Amnesia.

Open for lunch from 1 pm to 4 pm. and for dinner, it’s 8 pm to midnight. The restaurants are at their busiest between 3 pm and 4 pm. Almost all restaurants in Ibiza open for 365 days.
